Well, after two days in the hospital Jonah and mommy came home on Thursday. Jonah has fit in nicely and it feels like he's always been here. The girls love him, but they think he's one of their baby dolls.

Tonight's The Night
I had my weekly doctor appointment today at 1:00. I was hoping to schedule the induction for later this week, but it looks like they want us to come in TONIGHT! I don't think anything will happen this evening because they aren't planning to start the Pitocin until tomorrow morning. We will post tomorrow as soon as the baby is born. We can't wait to see if the newest Doyle is going to be a boy or a girl. Stay tuned!!

Mini Van Family
Well... it's official. We are a minivan family. We traded in our Toyota Highlander for a Honda Odyssey last night. We had the Toyota for sale on Craig's List and Ebay for a couple of months and we just weren't getting any serious buyers. We had a bunch of scammers contact us through Craig's List and it was really starting to get tiring. We decided to take a look at a used car dealership near Adam's work and they were willing to give us the same $ amount for the Toyota as we were trying to sell it for online. We walked out of the dealership with a van and no car payment!! This is what we bought...

Saturday's Photo Shoot
We had our photographer friend, Janice Sarcomo, come to the house this weekend to take pictures of us. She put a few of the photos on her blog, and we are so happy with the way they turned out! Click on the link below to see her post dated November 3rd.

29 Week Belly
I am 29 weeks pregnant and things are going really well. I have been feeling pretty good, but my body will let me know if I've done too much. Here are a few belly pictures that Adam took of me today. Makenna was looking at mommy's belly too. She's been pretty interested in it lately, and I tell her all the time that there's a baby in my belly.
18 Month Doctor's Appt
The girls had their 18 month well-baby visit on Sept 26 and they are both doing great according to the doctor. They did not appreciate the doctor touching them, so they pretty much screamed the entire time. Luckily the doctor wrote down all the details of the visit because I think we were all traumatized by the time we walked out of there. The doctor was not concerned that the girls aren't talking, and said that we would address that at their 2 year appointment if they are still "speechless". Here were the details:
Makayla weighs 22.6 lbs (15th percentile) and is 31 1/4" tall( 40th percentile).
Makenna weighs 21.9 lbs (15th percentile) and is 31" tall (25th percentile).

Fun Videos
Here are a couple of fun videos of the girls.
I went in to get the girls out of the bed on morning last week and this is what I saw...
The girls look a like, but they have two different personalities...
I bought the girls potties and showed them how to use it once. Later that afternoon I didn't put their pants back on after I changed their diapers. This is what I found them doing...

20 Week Anatomy Scan
We went to Cooper University's Fetal Maternal Medicine department today to have our 20 week anatomy ultrasound. The baby looks really good and they said they won't need to see me back there for this pregnancy. We have decided to wait to find out what sex the baby is, although Adam is pretty sure he thinks he knows what we are having. I am still looking forward to the surprise of finding out for sure. Here are the pictures from today's appointment.

Pictures from our vacation
We took our first airplane trip with the girls last week. We went to Myrtle Beach, SC for six days and then Adam and I drove to Columbia, SC for my friend's wedding. The girls did really good on the plane going and coming. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Here are pictures.

12 Month Check Up
The girls had their 12 month well baby visit today and things look good. Makenna is 18.12 lbs and Makayla is 19.2 lbs, and they are both 28 1/4 inches tall. They are around the 20th percentile for the weight and height. They were previously in the 50th percentile, so the doctor suggested we start feeding them more pastas and starches to get their weight up. They had to get four shots today, and they were troopers. Luckily for us, these shots didn't make them sick! They won't have to see the doctor again until they are 15 months old (on June 4th).

The Birthday Girls
So, we had the girls first birthday party on Sunday March 9th at the Merchantville Lodge. They had a great time playing with the other children and they received a lot of fabulous gifts. Here are some pictures from the party.

December and January Photos
Alright, it took all day, but I finally uploaded the pictures of the girls from December and January. Enjoy!!

Long time no see!
So, things have been busy in the Doyle household lately. Both girls sprouted their first teeth about two weeks ago. (They both have two teeth each on the bottom.) We also have a lot of walking going on these days. Makenna showed interest in walking first, but it's Makayla who's taken off. I have attached a couple of videos below that show the girls playing and walking. I have a ton of pictures to upload, so I will have those in a later post.
